Tasks

·      You continuously identify market trends through our operations and customers as input for the Business Line´s development you are leading

·      You develop and maintain the global strategy for the Business Line together with stakeholders

·      You identify gaps and needs (skills, operational tools etc.) in operations and drive improvement

·      You Maintain and develop the global network of Technical Managers within the Business Line

·      You Drive digitalization within the Business Line, i.e. drive development in operational tools and digital business as e.g. IoT related services

·      You search for potential partners and M&A targets together with Corporate M&A and Service Division´s dept Strategic Development and support potential M&A processes


Qualifications

·      Degree in mechanical egineering, process engineering, industrial engineering or comparable technical degree

·      10 years of experience related to Pressure Equipment, preferably in a international context

·      Strong leader with a proven record of successfully leading teams in international network through acceptance and trust

·      Experience in Project Management

·      Excellent communication skills, fluent in German and English

·      Structured and pragmatic with a getting-things-done mentality

Service Division Industrial Inspection is searching for a global manager for the Business Line Pressure Equipment & Welding. Our main operations for this Business Line are situation in Germany, Sweden, France, Finland, Czech Republic, Mainland China and Italy. As a Business Line Manager you are globally responsible for the strategic continuous improvement and development within Pressure Equipment & Welding. That spans over technical development & innovation, process development and operational (IT) tools, growth in the various countries and in general to be the global leader and to some extent expert. You are not directly responsible for the P&L in these countries but you have the strategic and content lead.

The technical diversity in the Service Division Industrial Inspection, where you will belong, is wide and comprises NDT (non-destructive testing), Lift Equipment, Sustainability and Renewable Energy, Construction, Electrical, Fire Protection, Ventilation, Electrical and Mechanized/Robotized Inspection, apart from your own Business Line. We also have one department working primarily with Service Development and Excellence, and you will have a lot of contact with those colleagues. Further, we have a department responsible for Strategic Development, and also here you will have a lot of contact. Then of course you will have direct communication with the operations in the relevant countries and together with them, also with customers.
